🌫 Memedi
“Memedi” is a general term used to describe spirits or ghost-like presences. These are often part of traditional stories shared within families and communities.
👶 Tuyul
A tuyul is often described as a small spirit in Indonesian folklore. Stories about tuyul are sometimes told in a cautionary way, particularly about honesty and behaviour.
🔥 Leak
The leak is one of the most well-known figures in Balinese culture. It appears in traditional stories and performances, often representing powerful mystical energy.
Importantly, leak is also part of Balinese dance and cultural storytelling, not just belief.

Because of these beliefs, Balinese people make daily offerings called Canang Sari.
